The Panasonic DMP-BD35 is Profile 2.0 compatible, also known as BD-Live. This allows the user to access additional information through the use of an Ethernet connection on the back of the unit. The use this feature an internet connection is required. The BD-Live content can also be accessed without any firmware upgrades to the machine. Not all profile 2.0 players are ready to run right out of the box.

With Viera link you can connect your Blu-ray player to a host of other compatible Panasonic devices such as TVs and home theater systems and use only one remote to control them all. It will also display useful information on the screen.

The included SD card slot provides another way for you to share your digital media. Simply slide your card into the reader and have access to all your digital media. This makes it easy to share vacation photos on something bigger than your 17 inch computer monitor
